Juan Carlos is the founder and Managing Attorney of Gutierrez & Assoc. PLLC. He moved to the United States at the age of 15 and, after learning English, graduated from Provo High School. He then attended Utah Valley University before pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. Beyond his legal career, Juan Carlos has a passion for soccer. He is the proud director of Rebelion F.C., a soccer academy in his hometown of Villa Corona, in Mexico. He also leads the six-time championship team of the same name in Utah.

With a master's degree in finance from the University of Utah, Luis, brings a unique blend of financial insight and exceptional writing skills to the team. His analytical abilities and keen attention to detail make him an invaluable asset, particularly in crafting precise and persuasive legal documents. Riki’s expertise ensures that every piece of writing is not only accurate but also compelling, reflecting the high standards of our firm.

As the Managing Partner of Gutierrez y Asociados, a Mexican law firm, Guillermo brings extensive expertise in navigating the complexities of Mexico's corporate and trade laws. His deep understanding of the intricate import and export regulations in Mexico has been invaluable to our firm. For many years, Guillermo has provided critical advice and guidance, ensuring our clients remain compliant with the ever-evolving legal landscape in Mexico. His collaboration enhances our ability to manage and resolve complex international transactions with precision and efficiency.

Alberto joined G&A in May 2020 and has since risen to the position of Senior Paralegal. He is on track to become a member of the Bar and is already a licensed attorney in Mexico. With his expertise in Immigration and Corporate Law, Alberto has played a key role in expanding G&A’s services to the Hispanic community, particularly in facilitating Investor Visas. His efforts have been instrumental in helping individuals and businesses from Latin America establish themselves in the United States. Outside of work, Alberto is an avid soccer enthusiast and plays on our over-30 team, Rebelion.

Johanna is an Intern-Paralegal in her third year of law school, preparing to sit for the Bar exam. Like all interns, she handles a diverse range of responsibilities, from drafting divorce petitions to reviewing corporate agreements. Johanna is highly dedicated to becoming an attorney, and we are committed to supporting her in reaching this goal. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and going out dancing with her husband.

Penny plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations, managing tasks such as communication, scheduling, organizing client files, and preparing legal documents. As the first point of contact for clients, she ensures professional and courteous interactions while also supporting the entire staff with administrative duties like bookkeeping and office supply management. Outside of work, Penny enjoys working out and going to the movies.
